New Theater for
Dillon in Future
From The Field - Conway, SC
September 27, 1934
The
buiding on Railroad Avenue, formerly occupied by the Every Boyds Theater
[this should be Everybody's Theater] has been torn
away to make room for another modern theater for motion pictures in
Dillon to be owned and operated by the Anderson Theater Company. This
building is one of a group of business houses recently purchased by
H.H. Anderson of Dillon and Cheraw from the Jefferson Standard Life
Insurance Company as a spot cash transaction running into money in excess
of twenty one thousand dollars.
B.B.
Benfield's Broadway Theater on West Main Street is
another modern motion picture show house just completed a little more
than a year ago and is still doing a very profitable business.
