The advertisement above is one of a very few we found in the Jasper County Record. This newspaper did have an advertisement for the Bijou Theater in Savannah that read, "Keith Vaudeville and Features, Continuous Policy, 2 to 11 PM, No Reserve Seats." The advertisement for the Bijou ran in the September 20, 1928 edition. It is likely that no theater existed in Ridgeland at that time.
